Sorry I haven't posted for a while, its been a bit of a hectic month and so I've taken a bit of time off from blogging. Have lots to share now so thought I should start with the wedding of our close friends, Nicola and Andrew or should I say Mr and Mrs Newton!
Can't believe this time a month ago we were waving off the happy couple on their mini moon after such a wonderful day. at the beautiful Eshott Hall in Morpeth, Northumberland.
The venue was stunning and the bride and groom both gorgeous! Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day, even the Wisteria came out to compliment the colour theme!
The ceremony was held on the hall's grand staircase with the guests seated in the beautiful hall. As Andrew waited on the landing we watched as Nicola descended gracefully down the stairs and I'm sure there was not a dry eye in the house!
For the Order of Services I continued the colour theme and scroll design from the invitations into a simple tri-fold card, containing the order of the day, readings and thanks, held together with a slip band crafted out of the laser-cut paper as the invitation envelopes. I will be posting more on the designs separately.
The reception hall was decorated beatifully and the food divine. To keep the tables simple I incorporated the menus onto the back of the name place cards, finished with an organsa ribbon reminiscent of the invitations. It was nice to see the cards being used creatively!
The tables were named under a quiz theme, being where the couple first got together. The table name cards as envelopes doubled up to hold quiz cards about the couple which were enjoyed by the guests with a bit of added completion!
It was such a wonderful day and I was thrilled to be able to have so much involvement.
I love you guys and wish you all the best! x
